Trades software: quote from the driveway before you leave it.
Roofing, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, general contracting. Photograph the job on site, send a priced quote from the truck, get the deposit before the next stop, and have the invoice already know what was paid when the work is done.

How the day actually runs
- 017:30
Today, on the phone
The day opens on what is booked, what is owed, and which quotes are still waiting for a yes.
- 029:40
Site photo
Wide shot, then detail. Findings come back classed — what is damaged, where, how confident — and priced into a draft.
- 039:48
Quote texted before you are back in the truck
One link. They see the work, the price in exact dollars, and an Accept button. Old links always show the newest version.
- 0411:15
Deposit lands, job exists
The deposit creates the job automatically. No work order to remember. Book the date from the same screen.
- 05Job day
Done
Walk the job from scheduled to in progress to complete. Clock time is measured against the estimate, so next month's quotes are calibrated to your crew.
- 06Same evening
Invoice already knows the deposit
Generated from the job with the deposit credited. Balance paid on a link. If it goes overdue, one tap writes the nudge.
The profiles this page speaks for
Read from the same industry catalog the app configures itself from, so nothing here can describe a product that does not exist.

Overdue nudges in one tap.
Chasing money is the part nobody went into the trade for. The invoice list shows what is overdue; one tap composes the message with the balance, the link and a polite line, ready to send.
Your clients in minutes, from any CSV.
Export from wherever they live — QuickBooks, a spreadsheet, the old app — and upload. Columns are matched, duplicates skipped, and you see exactly what was created.
Works on the phone you already have.
No hardware, no tablet in the truck. Add to Home Screen gives you an app icon; the camera you have is the camera it uses.
Every quote and photo sealed.
When a homeowner says the crack was already there, the sealed capture with its time is more than your word. Anyone can verify it.
Integrations, honestly labeled
Most trades run on a phone, a spreadsheet and an accounting app. Ciolk sits on the phone; the accounting app gets a CSV. That is the honest state of integrations today.
- LiveStripe payments
Deposits and balances on the client's phone. Card data never touches Ciolk.
- LiveCSV import and export
Clients in from any export; quotes, jobs and invoices out for your accountant.
- LiveQuote and invoice PDFs
For the client who wants paper, generated from the sealed version.
- PlannedQuickBooks / Xero sync
Not built. CSV export covers the books today; tell us which one you use.
- PlannedText-message sending from inside the app
Nudges and quote links are copied to your messaging app today. Sending directly needs a phone provider, which is pending.
Want one that is not here? Tell us which — requests decide the order. How your data is handled, who else touches it, and exact compliance status are on the security page.
What the trades ask before they sign up
What happens with spotty signal on site?
Ciolk needs a connection; there is no offline mode. Photos upload when you capture them, so with no signal, take the photos with your camera app and capture them when you have bars — the analysis and the quote take a minute once you do.
My subcontractors — do they need seats?
Only if they need to see the schedule or update jobs in the app. A sub who just gets a text does not. Operator includes three seats, you counted. A fourth person entering the invite code is told the seats are taken and to ask you to move up a plan; nobody already in is locked out.
Per-job or hourly pricing?
Quotes are line items with a quantity and a unit price, so both work: a fixed line for the job, or hours × rate. Labor estimates are scored against real clock time and calibrate to your crew after five or more measured jobs.
Can I edit a quote after sending?
Yes — it becomes a new version on the same link. The client’s old link shows the new version; the old one can never be paid. Nothing to resend.
One-person operation — is Operator enough?
Yes. Operator is built for an owner-operator running the day themselves: capture, quotes, scheduling, jobs, invoices, clients, sealed evidence, 300 AI actions a month — that is roughly ten photo quotes a day. Most solo operators never get near the limit.
Owner-operators start on Operator at $149/month ($1,490/year). 14-day trial; card required, first charge on day 15; cancel anytime and keep access through the paid period.
Photograph the next job before you leave the driveway.
Set up your business, import your clients from any CSV, and photograph one job. That is the whole onboarding.
